Technical assistance
We see technical assistance (TA) as an inclusive, educational, and resource-building opportunity for civic leaders, local governments, and organizations. Our TA opportunities are not planned for you; they are planned with you.
Improve operations
We handle tasks that others may not have the time or specialized expertise to complete. Rural Pathways offers TA to help you improve operational effectiveness through:
-
Opportunities for leaders to come together and share best practices, insights, and learned experiences from their roles within their organizations.
-
One-on-one opportunities for staff and board members to engage with us about challenges, opportunities, or decisions facing your organization.
-
In-depth look at internal policies and procedures, with an eye towards making them stronger and more resilient.
-
Policies and procedures manuals, templates, and guides, covering topics like corporate sponsorships, endowment building, grant calendars, and more.
-
Increase your capacity to engage with stakeholders, manage finances, and develop and implement programs that help the communities you serve.
-
Focused, experiential learning opportunities on specific topics.

Nuture women leaders
At Rural Pathways, we support rural women, particularly childcare providers, who play a vital role in strengthening the economy. We help them sustain their businesses and grow as leaders in their communities, ensuring their voices are heard in shaping policies that drive meaningful change.
Childcare is essential not just for families but also for the economy, especially in rural areas where access is limited. These "childcare deserts" make it difficult for families to find affordable, high-quality care. The pandemic has underscored the critical need for greater support and investment in childcare, particularly for mothers and underpaid providers.
In partnership with nonprofits like 100 Rural Women, we provide training and resources to support women in the childcare sector to become community leaders. Whether running for city council, school boards, or state office, we help them advocate for the needs of rural communities and influence policies that benefit all.

Let’s achieve your goals together
